Me!

What does Tom identify with? He is not here to tell you his favourite curry or what sport he follows. He identifies as a Memory Savant, Writer and Artist. Writing his best gift he believes, as it encompasses all his creativity.
Tom lives in Lytham by the biscuit tin windmill with his delightful and equally creative partner Veronica. And is well known locally for drawing all the pretty Victorian shopfronts with a footfall of postcard cartoon people. But Tom is taking a holiday from this adventure in art for a while as he explores the number record.
A bit about Tom. He was born in Belfast and lived through the Troubles. He discovered later in life that his mind thought outside the box and that he had Eidetic memory. He does not have any Master's Degree or tasted Strawberries & Cream from University. His early years screwed up by his autism. But through all that chaos, he did maintain his nice nature and surely that is a life qualification itself.

Workwise he followed the family trade of carpentry. And way back when there was a Blackpool, he was the Seaside Memory Man Show round the hotels for the Bucket & Spade Brigade and brought smiles as he knew every phone number for miles. Then discovered the joy of driving taxi around the Fylde. He loved that job. Driving a city of people almost to the Moon and back with his endless repertoire of Irish jokes.
And while driving drunks in all corners of late night hell, he learned more about psychology than all the time and courses around reading Freud and further education.

Life has thrown at Tom lots of travel and good karma. And in recent years, life has inhibited Tom with the curse of disability. His legs are wonky, yet his mind is always in a good place.
It has to be in a good place. Have you seen how big this list is, how nice he writes and what he can draw!
